Summer Wind Radio is broadcast from the beautiful South Sea Island of Wananuki, somewhere in the South Pacific. Our shows feature all the music from the schooner Summer Wind, the Small Tall Ship that winters here on the island. It's sailing music at its best! We play sea shanties from the morning History Sails, your favorite Trop Rock beach music from the afternoon Tropical Sails, and the most romantic music from the evening Sunset Sails. If you can't go sailing on the Summer Wind, it's the next best thing to being here! Welcome aboard!
Be a radio star! Yes, you can be on Summer Wind Radio too. It's easy! You don't even need to sail to Wananuki Island to do it. Just send us an MP3 file of you saying "This... is Summer Wind Radio!" and we'll add you to the rotation and broadcast you around the world. Send your entry to Captain@SummerWindRadio.com today!
Be a movie star! Yes, now you can even be a movie star. I recently spoke with independent film producer Todd Norwood about his latest project, Island Time. It's a film all about the island lifestyle. It's a comedy about a guy who escapes from his cubicle job and buys a beach bar on an island. Todd is raising money for the film on Idiegogo and you can even have a (small) part in the film. His distribution plan includes house concerts and the soundtrack will feature several of the artists you hear right here on Summer Wind Radio!
